CBNA congresses on sustainability in animal nutrition take place alongside Fenagra
The program includes the 36th CBNA Annual Meeting, the 9th Workshop on Nutrition and Nutrology of Dogs and Cats, the 25th CBNA PET Congress, and the presence of academics and representatives of agribusiness and industry companies
In its 19th edition, Fenagra – International Feed & Food Agribusiness, Technology and Processing Trade Show – consolidates its leading role in the feed & food sector, bringing together the main players in Pet Food, Animal Nutrition, Rendering, Biodiesel, and Oils and Fats in Latin America. The event will take place on May 12–14, 11 am–7 pm, at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo.
Alongside the trade show, the traditional and highly anticipated technical congresses promoted by the Brazilian College of Animal Nutrition (CBNA) will be held. The program includes the 36th CBNA Annual Meeting – Poultry, Swine and Cattle, the 9th Workshop on Nutrition and Nutrology of Dogs and Cats, and the 25th CBNA PET Congress. Around 14 thousand people, including visitors and congress attendees, are expected over the three days of the event.

The 36th CBNA Annual Meeting – Poultry, Swine and Cattle, one of the most traditional gatherings in the field in the country, will have as its central theme Nutrition beyond nutrition. The event will feature more than 20 talks, distributed across five panels, addressing trends, technologies and innovations in poultry, swine and cattle nutrition, with the participation of experts from academia, agribusiness and industry companies. The 9th Workshop on Nutrition and Nutrology of Dogs and Cats, organized by the Brazilian Society of Nutrition and Nutrology of Dogs and Cats (SBNutriPet) in partnership with CBNA, will highlight the challenges of feline nutrology, with debates on nutritional strategies and best clinical practices, as well as presentations of scientific papers. The 25th CBNA PET Congress will present the theme Challenges in feline feeding and will have a program divided into four panels – Nutrition; Process and Safety; Market; and Ethical communication in dog and cat nutrition. Among the topics discussed will be: most appropriate nutrient measures in the formulation of cat diets; pet food processing; additives and potentially toxic ingredients; performance indicators in feed mills and market prospects for the pet sector. About Fenagra 2026
Fenagra will bring together 250 exhibitors, including domestic companies and international representatives from the United States, Russia, Australia, Europe, Asia, South America and Saudi Arabia. The trade show will occupy two pavilions at Distrito Anhembi, totaling 26 thousand m² of exhibition space.
Most exhibitors belong to the Pet Food and Animal Nutrition segments (Animal Feed – Poultry, Swine, Cattle and Aqua Feed), followed by the Meatpacking and Rendering sectors (Animal Recycling), Biodiesel, and Vegetable Oils and Fats, intended for both human nutrition and biofuel production. The volume of business generated during the trade show is expected to exceed R$ 1 billion.
